I knew Romo didn't look as sharp yesterday as he normally does. he was leaving a lot of passes way too high or off the mark. That was one factor in the Cowboy's shocking upset loss.

Another was that Jason Witten had an off day. Witten is the premiere Tight End in the NFL. However, he was missing blocks, was called for false start a couple of times, and wasn't as much of a factor as he normally is.

It's up to Brad Johnson to manage the games, know he has the best arsenal in football at his fingertips, and let them win the game for America's Team.

This is somewhat similar to when Bob Griese went down during the Dolphin's Undefeated Super Bowl season, and Earl Morral came in and led them to 9 straight wins.

Yeah, except for that whole "undefeated" thing. And the fact the Dolphins had actually won a damn playoff game the year before.

Romo, who had started 30 straight regular-season games since replacing Drew Bledsoe in 2006, broke his right pinkie on the first play of overtime in a 30-24 loss at Arizona on Sunday, according to a posting on the team's official Web site. The injury will not require surgery, a member of the Cowboys' medical staff told ESPN.com's Matt Mosley
Nice Analysis there mutt on why Romo was errant on a lot passes......what is the excuse for the 60 minutes leading up to Overtime???

Maybe Romo has an inner voice that knows when bad things will happen. Or, it could be that he wasn't his normal accurate self- he hit some big TD's, but his throws weren't as on-the-mark as they normally are. I do know that the Cardinal Defense was knocking the **** out of him just about every play.

It's still better to have this lull in Sept-Oct, instead of Dec.-January. The superiority of America's team will shine through, once Brad Johnson manages the team, Tony romo ditches Jessica "Memo Paris" Simpson, and marries his High School sweetheart who wears white hats to the games that brings out wonderful sunlight when she stands up.

The Saints are starting to get healthy. Colston back this week, maybe Shockey.... Sed Ellis back for SD or right after the bye. The run defense is showing up. Deuce is looking more like Duece. 3-3 and one game back..... playing Carolina this Sunday.

because I think if he got more carries, he would have the same number of yards. Limit his touches but maximize the effort.

Cowboys give the Lions 1st, 3rd, and 6th round draft picks. I'm also hearing that the Lions give the Cowboys a 7th, but that's only confirmed by one source so far.
