Announced hes returning for the 2017 season. Thats awesome for OU. Just wonder what that does for Kyler Murray. Really wanted to see him run this offense, hopefully he stays around and takes over after Mayfield is gone.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kendall (and incoming Chris Robinson) redshirt and Murray be the backup next year...... if Murray is as good as advertised. Big if.
I'm not sure what your massive boner for Murray is... did he beat your team so bad that you think he is the "God" of quarterbacks?
Mayfield is not just a good QB, he is a great QB.
Did you see the difference, between him and the OSU QB, in throwing accuracy while on the run?

Murray is a very good QB, we never played against him, but my son played with him for 2 seasons. I want Mayfield back next year, but would also like to see Murray stay and follow in his footsteps after Mayfield leaves. Any Sooner fan that has seen Murray play would want the same thing.
Murray's situation isn't a topic to get hostile about.
Next season, Mayfield starts and Kendall and Murray battle it out for backup duty......unless Murray switches positions, or either Murray or Kendall transfer....and Robison redshirts.
