The whole plane incident that some keep mentioning . They mentioned who was involved and his name wasn’t mentioned .
Florida was the hotter team by far, can’t hate on a final 4. Not like he derailed them in the first round or something.Auburn always has that one guy on their team that is a cancer and prevents them from going as far as they could have. Last couple years it was that chubby little guard, KD Johnson. This year it was Baker-Mazzara.
Honestly we better hope not, it gives him another elite and proven talent and he can handle his BS.This dude has Cal and Arkansas written all over him. Just like Cousins. Mental maturity of a 3 year old.
He hasn’t been right too often with predictions but he has with interest in players for sure.Has Polacheck been right about anything this season?
I’ve never heard of a buyout in this landscape, I bet that wouldn’t hold up in court and nobody would play for Auburn in the future if that was the case until it was widely enforceable.CBM may be tough to get. The other site reporting he may have a large buyout. Hope carefully on this one
Good call! That’s the key, no one knows if it would be enforceable.I’ve never heard of a buyout in this landscape, I bet that wouldn’t hold up in court and nobody would play for Auburn in the future if that was the case until it was widely enforceable.
Watched #54 back up Dan Issel as a junior high kid. I was always convinced he could have started at 3/4 of the SEC Schools back then. He always showed up over the years whenever his teammates got together over the years. He loved UK. I was sad to hear when he passed not to long ago.I have a hard time believing if Pearl really wanted him next year they would have found a way to keep him.
Just my preference, but it I prefer Sarr, but I would take CBM if it’s even possibleIf you have a chance to get CBM, you go get him. Sounds unlikely, but if you got him you are set
I like Sarr a lot too, either one would be awesome.Just my preference, but it I prefer Sarr, but I would take CBM if it’s even possible
There are a couple absolute game changers in the portal now. IMHO you either go get one of them or be in the tier behind.i would take him. he can do a lot of things.
I've not seen that posted anywhere but I do recall it being referred to as an internal matter or something to that effect...which seems a likely way of handling something like that. I looked...gotta link? Either way, do you really believe in your gut that he fits what we've seen and heard from Pope to date? I don't. I get playing with fire and a competitive spirit but that's just not what I've seen. I see a guy that's about himself, mouthy, selfish, has a record of playing dirty and falls down every game and miraculously comes back in like nothing happened....like all the time! So, add drama queen to the rest. Lol!The whole plane incident that some keep mentioning . They mentioned who was involved and his name wasn’t mentioned .
I don't care who Cal gets at Arkansas. I'm just glad he is gone from UK.Honestly we better hope not, it gives him another elite and proven talent and he can handle his BS.
Pope knows these players better than we do…and we already know fit matters to him. I think fans assuming we have a better handle on what Pope can work together than he does is probably not accurate. Let’s wait it out and see.I've not seen that posted anywhere but I do recall it being referred to as an internal matter or something to that effect...which seems a likely way of handling something like that. Bottom line, if a player with near his ability becomes available(Sarr), why even risk it with a player that has known red flags smoking from his ears? It seems that the board is pretty equally split and strongly, either way. So, again, why risk it with a guy that has clear signs(to half of us) of a potential problem(s)...if a different option offers similar upside but is less of a risk?
I am as well brother. I don’t want him to stack talent either, it’s the only way he will win.I don't care who Cal gets at Arkansas. I'm just glad he is gone from UK.

That’s the only thing I have seen when it came to mentioning the players involved. I get the concerns as far as his antics on the court . I just don’t agree with people calling him a bad lockerroom guy . It doesn’t seem like it his teammates dislike him . You definitely would have to worry about him committing a hard foul in a key moment.
Agreed . I mean Pope definitely cares about a player fitting on the roster . If he fills like Baker-Mazara is a good fit then he would know better than any of us on the board .You are right and it seems his teammates freaking love the guy. As in the kind of guy that has an entire team feeling like a complete unit and brotherhood, a player that wears his heart on his sleeve and won’t tolerate anyone snapping at one of his. That kind of player is exactly what Pope loves.
Stop worrying about Cal and talent.I am as well brother it I don’t want him to stack talent either, it’s the only way he will win.
I would not say I am worried about him at all, but I will celebrate his failures because he treated us like idiots for so long.Stop worrying about Cal and talent.
Cal had more talent this year than every team in the tournament other than Duke and Florida, and he did his usual March choke job.
We good.
yeah. some people said they wanted a liggins-type player to defend, slash and facilitate. well there he is. although he’s probably not as mentally tough, and comes with antics, and a big price tag. he’s not a program changer, but he is imo, a game changer. There are a couple absolute game changers in the portal now. IMHO you either go get one of them or be in the tier behind.
Oh, I hope he loses every game he coaches for what he did to our program.I would not say I am worried about him at all, but I will celebrate his failures because he treated us like idiots for so long.
After Lewis leaving there is a spot open. Do wonder if Kriisa would have stayed if Lewis decomitted a month or so ago.Mutual decision, no spot for him. We will see on BCM, I expect Pope to go for him
Approximately $1M. Worth it if you can get the guy.Evidently wherever he goes has gotta pay Auburn back some money they've already given him towards next season..
I’ll donateEvidently wherever he goes has gotta pay Auburn back some money they've already given him towards next season..
The real qyuestion would be would he want to be here? I wonder if he was fighting on the plane to Houston. The real question is do we want him here? I’m sure pope will reach out
We will see about that, guys leave left and right and no school has asked for money back. That seems like a court case in the making.Possibly wherever he goes has gotta pay Auburn back some money they've already given him towards next season..
That’s already been debunked. The two guys named were suspended and CBM wasn’t one of the ones listedThe real qyuestion would be would he want to be here? I wonder if he was fighting on the plane to Houston.
Most of the games we lost were because we couldn’t match the physicality. I hope he can fight. The real qyuestion would be would he want to be here? I wonder if he was fighting on the plane to Houston.
Someone is eventually gonna open that can up..We will see about that, guys leave left and right and no school has asked for money back. That seems like a court case in the making.
It’s because some of this years NIL money was already paid out.We will see about that, guys leave left and right and no school has asked for money back. That seems like a court case in the making.
No doubt about that.Someone is eventually gonna open that can up..
For sure, just thought I’d post what was said. If it’s true they have been on him this long, I’d take that as a good sign he’s finally entered. I’m still not sold on him leaving and just not negotiating a better deal but he could see Auburn is gonna be down a little and sees UK will be pretty good. How much can we even believe from Pilgrim and JP? Probably not a lot, they’re trying to sell let’s not forget.
