NU down around all those spare programs looks like a game of “which of these things is not like the others” on Sesame Street. Yikes
I noticed how high Louisville and Washington were, which seems a bit if a stretch, neither will be ranked that high when the A.P comes out.

Some positives - at 43, that could mean a 7 win season, and, we are only 16 spots behind KSU.

we're going a lot higher than 43.. Nebraska is going to stun the college football world this year! 4 teams in the top 20.. the rest is gravy.. I think we're going to the playoffs with Colandrea and Geep's OL.. we are going to dominate the line of scrimmage and you all know the rest of the story! 100 days out! GBR

Seems about right, I kind of like the lack of hype, Need to beat a ranked team this year.
I actually think 43 is still hype for the upcoming team. If you actually look at the roster:
1. Who is going replace Emmitt
2. Who is going to catch the ball on 3rd down
3. Who is going to protect the ball at qb, not throw ints
4. Who is going to stop the run
5. How are we going to defend the pass
6. What happens to special teams without EK

I can convince myself of answers to most of those but I'm coming up dry on #4. After the end to last season that topic is what keeps me up at night.

you disagree?

nobody here follows Minn closer than you. they kick our *** every year.

UCLA just hired a tough, trenches-oriented guy who wins everywhere he goes no matter what. made the CFP last year.

rhule is rhule - an absolute loser who does literally nothing to give us an edge against any opponent.

Save it. James Madison didn’t deserve to be in the CPF, everyone knows that for a fact.

More drivel from NON-ticket owner.

I‘m not buying Minnesota and UCLA being better than NU.
UCLA- I’m not buying it either, we will have to see how they do with their new coach

Minnesota- they absolutely are better than we are. PJ is pretty damn annoying but he’s a decent coach. More than that, they are a prototypical BiG TeN tough physical team. They just can pound the piss out of us all day long and we have no answers for it.

Couldn't agree more! And hey - what happened to @Headcard? Mentioning PJ reminded me of how much he hates the guy!

Actually my yearly donation went to Hoiberg basketball program for outstanding year.

Football team didn’t earn it.

I'm not talking about how much people donate or where it's allocated. I'm talking about your insistence that having season tickets somehow makes you a better, more knowledgable fan than people who don't have season tickets. It's an ignorant take, yet you keep doubling down on it. Pretty much devalues all your other points.

That’s your opinion.
Never said I was more knowledgeable fan, but I’m not one that stomps my feet and complains constantly when the season hasn’t even begone yet and rather not support the program by boycotting games.

Wins and losses will determine if Rhule is here next year or the year after.
In the mean time get behind the program or find another team.

Most of the people that I know that have season tickets...are the first people that give those tickets away...They are thrilled to give them away to friends/family and maybe attend one or two games a year.

They are almost never "super fan"

I mean, clearly we are all "behind the team" we are all obsessed with NU football since we all post here 24/7.

Yep, that among other things when it comes to season ticket holders. Very much like the biggest homer apologists are by far the least knowledgeable.
