Back in the game only down 7. we put in Elgin who did ok... and white boy Riley? 2 timeouts... our starters should have been rested! Who cares about minutes! </p>

yeah but Knight was stating the obvious. Any true state bb fan knows Stans and his ridiculous sub methods. Even when we're playing with a lead and trying to build on a lead with momemtum and all, it never fails for him to screw it up bringing a sub or two or three in.

to play 4 subs and the worst of your 5 starters and leave them all in there for a 10 point run. I defend Stans all the time on this website, but he blew it with that decision. John Wooden said that you never need more than about 7 players in a rotation and he played full-court pressure all the time. I've always been a fan of using only 7-8 players. You can get your starters plenty of rest without going any deeper on your bench than that.
