I think there is more to this story. He was dismissed but his eligibility was used up. He apparently had done this so much Auburn was aware he may do it after the interception. They took some measures to prevent it. However, Memphis had done nothing to him before as they needed him on the field. This reeks of Bill Snyder discipline-- I'll do what I need to as long as it doesn't hurt my chances for a W.
