Ballard's long TD run a result of "the spread"...

Right before that Ballard's 51 yard TD run, State had been "bunched up" and not running that well. However, on that play we had 4 or 5 wideouts and there was a HUGE hole for him to run through untouched.

....and was staring at the QB while Ballard was trucking up the middle.

is for someone who is supposedly a spread guy, he throws a LOT of different stuff out there. I saw a lot of I-formation/pro style/dare I say West Coast stuff, I saw of course mostly spread, and some pistol. And in the past, we've seen the wishbone on the goal line.

I love it because he kind of put everything out there. How can anyone NOT like that?
