Baltimore Ravens - So many injuries feel sorry for Lamar!

As a lifelong Steelers fan, I‘ve been torn having the Ravens in the same division as the Steelers. But I would be happy to have Lamar and the Ravens win a Super Bowl, even if it came at the expense of the Steelers. Of course, we already have our share of Super Bowl trophies, so that makes it easier to be generous.

There was some scuttlebutt throughout the NFL a couple of weeks ago that teams have finally figured out Lamar. Now, with so many injuries, should Baltimore have a rough year, teams will be like "see, told ya."

and yet Lamar fumbles twice deep in his own territory and lost the game. i love lamar mroe than any other player ever but it's getting to the point that every time he runs i expect him to fumble and turn the ball over and don't want to watch anymore. he just doesn't seem to get it when it comes to protecting the ball. he lost his last uk game by fumbling inside the 20 and he still have issues today. he lost last nights game in which they crushed the raiders all game because he fumbled twice. getting to the point i think he'll never win the big game because way too much chance he'll fumble when it matters.

A few things: when there's a QB who is able to extend plays, the ball is going to be in his hands longer. The odds of something not good happening increase. Also, Baltimore's offensive line was offensive. They provided no protection.

yes, but he put the ball on the ground three times in one game adn lost two. if he's an RB he's gone from the league forever if that happens. . i don't care who you are if you do that in a game you're cut. he's getting way to much leeway because of his talent but at some point he cost you wins. it broke 17 year, 81 game streak where harbuagh's teams had never lost after leading at least 10-0

Lamar smoked uk his last game in Lexington. He lost his sophomore year at home. He finished his career 2-1 against uk. Your welcome.

All things considered I thought the Ravens looked pretty darn good last night. You could tell late in the game that depth was an issue. I wish LJ wasn’t the leading carrier. Williams should have had 12 carries and LJ had the 9 carries.
But LJ is going to be LJ. Tough environment last night. Raider fans are crazies.

Unfortunately the football doubters like Steve Young will continue to label Lamar as a running back who plays QB. I understand the Ravens hadn’t had a lot of time to work with the new backs but Lamar should have used Andrew’s more. Mahomes has Kelce, Brady has Gronk and even Carr has #83. We need a possession receiver. We should have scored a TD on the last drive instead of settling for a FG. With Jimmy smith and Peters out, the secondary is susceptible to long ball.

When I looked at the stats this morning, I was shocked Andrews wasn’t used more. I thought maybe Andrews wasn’t up to par due to ??? I heard(?) tonight at a UofL event that LJ was seen grasping for breath. I didn’t notice that last night and I usually focus in on him, but maybe the camera was showing him after runs/plays/sideline?
