then when he plays with any fouls he literally doesn't play defense.
Dude, Bam plays like that with 0 fouls.
then when he plays with any fouls he literally doesn't play defense.
That's one move more than Bam has shown. Plus, Randle was a beast on the boards.Yeah, I see the numbers, and Randle seems to be the easy choice. But does anyone else remember that by about this point in the season every team had figured out that Julius had one move? ...right handed, into the lane, spin, fall away. Not saying Bam is doing much to create his own shot either. Juat that I remember us having issues once Randle kinda became one dimensional.
Pretty sure Towns had several double doubles alsoHere's the problem with Bam:
Double-doubles
Bam - 3
Randle - 24
Cousins - 20
Davis - 20
Jones (freshman) - 13
Noel - 6
WCS (sophomore) - 6
WCS (junior) - 7
Randle in college . Bam at this point in his NBA career. But Randle was the 4th best big Cal has had and that is impressive. I would rate Bam #6. 1. AD 2. Cousins 3. Towns 4. Randle 5. Jones 6. Bam
Sorry, Moon. Not sure how they aren't similar enough to compare, but I'll try to do better for you next time.
You know the deal, pick one and why.
Randle- 15 PPG, 10.4 Reb, 70.6 FT, 1.4 Asst, .76 BS. All-SEC (1st team), SEC Freshman of the Year, 3rd Team All-American
Bam- 13 PPG, 6.8 Reb, 60.5 FT, .87 Asst, 1.6 BS
Obviously Bam's season isn't over. I was just wondering how they stacked up.
Is this really a debate? Randle set the single season double doubles record his freshman year. I don't think Bam has had 4 all year.
Are you serious?! Similar?! Lol. Do you watch games? lol. Goodness man
Looks like one of your threads.Dumbest thread of the night . You are inbred
Bam is an 18 year old kid who is halfway through his freshman season.
I'm sure that we'll be back to having rosters full of Sheray Thomas type players after Cal leaves...
Randle was great, but he struggled too during his season here.
you realize this is a gif of Randle getting crammed on, right?
I loved Randle but he's not here anymore...Randle was an absolute beast at UK. Never saw a double team he couldn't beat and triple teams had trouble containing him. And he was 18 as well. This is an asinine comparison at this point. As I've said over and over, Randle is by far the most underrated player Cal has had at UK. If Bam can lead this team to a title game like Randle did, I want to see it.
