...the team actually thought they could contend. Once that pipe dream was destroyed, the players and coaches became disillusioned. 9-3 might be great for you, but for them what's the point if you've got no shot at your division?

If I could describe our mentality today it would be, "What's the point?"

Exactly, nothing showed that more than the fact that out in the open field our WR was chased down from behind by their DE.

Obviously the Ags are a different team than the last two years. Hopefully we'll actually be able to put Mizzou away this year. As to talent, we have two 5 star running backs, and Matt Joeckel (LT), D. Moore (DE), and Jake Matthews (RT) are all projected as 1st rounders as Jrs, with Joeckel and Moore projected in the top 5 by Kiper. Tannehill was a top 10 pick last year. Admittedly though, no matter the talent, coaching makes all the difference in the world. See Auburn.
