I think they are just renovating the existing stadium. (Which is a piece of crap)- It is going to be hard to make that baseball field in the corner of the parking lot any better than it is today. They should build another stadium close to the river.
Yes it will be built on the existing field but it will be a whole new stadium and an indoor practice facility. Bama may play 2015 home games in Hoover.
