My wife and I had a party to go to on Sat night so we asked one of the neighborhood girls to babysit. She comes over to the house that afternoon with her 10-year-old brother who is decked out in a Bama hat and sweatshirt. I knew that he was a big Bama fan beforehand and I also knew that neither of his parents had any affiliation, but I guess I had always just assumed that their was some connection down the line in the family tree. Anyway, I asked him if he was ready for the big game that night and as expected, he said he couldn't wait and that Bama was going to kick LSU's teeth down their throat.

So we get back from the party later that night and since I didn't want to seem like an ***, I delicately said something like "too bad about the game, but Bama may still have a shot at the title if they take care of business for the rest of the season." The kid then looks at me and says, "man, we turned it off at halftime because the game was so dang boring." At that moment, you could have probably heard a pin drop in our house and seeing on my face that I was about to say something that I'd regret, my wife thankfully took over the conversation. Now, I realize that this is just a young kid and one person does not represent an entire fanbase, but for some reason, I think this one moment pretty closely represents how I feel about the entire Crimson Tide fanbase. They're, for the most part, a giant collection of douchebags with no direction that have nothing real or remotely original to stand for in life so they simply leech on to the biggest winner they can find within a couple hundred miles of their residence. I realize that not every fan graduates from or even attends a given school, but ****. You come over dressed like Bear Bryant was your Halloween costume and then you tell me that the biggest game of the college football season was too boring to watch? I don't know how, but I often forget just how much I hate those guys.

I've never been to DWS for a big game, so I don't know how much room the visitors take up. I know that Bama basically took our stadium over a few weeks ago, but then again we are 17'n terrible and they were undefeated.
