Band Question

there are limited seats for the band that each school has to allot and that's where Bama wanted to seat them.
Also, MSU has put other school's band in the upper deck before. I know that we've done that to Ole Miss twice. I can't remember, but we may have done that to Bama to, and they wanted "payback".
The crappiest thing that I've ever seen another school do to the FMB was LSU in 1998. We brought the whole band and they made us leave our seats after the first quarter and made us sit under the stadium until there were about five minutes left in the second.

Like us doing it to the MDB in 2003 and Ole Miss a few years ago--it wasn't the home school that made the decision, it was the AD who chose to put the band up there. Since we sold so many tickets to the Bama game Stricklin decided to put the band in the upper deck.
Decision. It was the first time I've seen a band in the upper deck at BD. However, I did hear thatPenn State put a pep band in the lower level and one in the upper deck.
and I have to think it was our choice to put the band up top. One that I hate. I hate when we didn't have enough seats down low for visiting teams and I hate that we got put up top last weekend. To me - marching bands are huge part of what makes college football.
but only heard them once. With half our fans in the lower and the rest in the sky I really never heard us at all. At least at Florida you could hear the MSU fans when we yelled. If your not going to get the band down to where the players and fans can hear them then save the damn money. I hope that was not a MSU idea. If so someone go over and let them know they **** in their pants..
