Just informed from one of the university pilots- they left Starkville again this morning 8:21, arrived at 10:24 in Boulder. Petersen is our guy. Bank it. Sorry, flight tracking = ghey, but I'll take the risk.

Idaho is in the Eastern time zone, no?

If I am wrong forgive me. I need more maps of the Americas, the Iraq... and such as.

What in the flying 17 makes you think that the Pilot would know who is being hired? Do you really think Byrne says "Hey Mr Pilot, take me to Boulder, Colorado because we are hiring So-and-So".

Come on dude....

The 8:21 flight out of Vegas is headed to ATL. There are no flights from vegas or GTR heading to Boulder.

The flight department has to have everyone's name who is on the plane, coming and going.

I doubt this rumor is true, but the pilots proabably have more of an insight in this than any of us. Those guys know so much **** about this university, one of them is writing a book.

But why does the new hire have to be riding on our plane? If this is really as secretive as Byrne says it is, they wouldn't make that mistake...

I'm confused. Why wouldn't both just fly into Denver and have a meeting at a hotel near the aiport. Would be a hell of a lot cheaper.

Neinas' office is in Boulder, of course. But there would be no reason to meet there. Stupidku.

if he is already hired? I can understand it for the interviewing process though.

the pilot could know. We have family friends here in Memphis that has a son who's a private pilot. He flies for Ole Miss as a part time gig. His Dad was telling me (bragging?) last year he had Nutt in his plane twice before anyone had a clue that he was the next coach at Ole Miss. He just happened to tell me this over the summer.

Now, I'm not saying this is true about Peterson, but the pilot could know. I would have thought the same thing as you if I didn't know this guy that flies for Ole Miss.

Let me repeat. I still don't buy this about Peterson though.
