Patrick Willis' basketball coach took him in (Willis black, foster parents white). Chuckie Mullins was taken in. Micheal Antoneusco (sp) was taken in. Michael Oher was taken in. Probably others that I can't recall right now. Willis, Mullins and Oher ended up at Ole Miss...though only 1 on them were taken in by Ole Miss people. Antoneusco (sp) went to Memphis, but he was taken in by Ole Miss boosters.

Believe it or not, people don't always have ulterior motives.

to start a new thread for that? For that?

Coach and I have been going back and forth for over a week about Stansbury. You haven't seen me start a thread with "Coach34" in the subject line.

And those are just examples related to Ole Miss. I'm sure there are many stories out there like that. The only reason the Tuohys' story is cast in a negative light is because Oher ended up becoming a big time recruit. Had he been like Patrick Willis, and had he been lightly recruited later developing into a star, no one would even mention it in a negative light.

Considering the other thread was locked before I could comment, yes I needed to start a new thread.

Attention has nothing to do with it. It's called 'bringing the facts' and answering his/her question, a question that was never answered.

There is an open Oher thread below that you could have used just as well. By the way, you fail the litmus test.

The question wasn't asked in that thread.

Just be thankful I didn't start another thread to list many of your players and commits that are/will be in school due to BYU.

You see, that's were we see if differently. It's the ******** that is being replied to, not the replies themselves.

It's simple. Don't act like we're the only team in the country (or the state for that matter) that sign these type players.
