Barney and Williams question.

So YTD stats show Barney with only 8 carries. Is he playing hurt and perhaps the coaches are protecting him? Obviously Williams has that straight line track speed that makes him dangerous on KO’s, but would a couple of plays with him in the backfield, give opposing defenses more to think about? GBR!

With blocking still a bit suspect, it’s tough for Barney because he’s so slight that a still wind knocks him down. He’s not a YAC guy - get him in space to make a move maybe. If Williams was good enough to be in the RB rotation, we would have seen him already.

He’s a pure YAC guy. We don’t utilize him well. And Hunter has taken most of the attention with Key taking the rest

In terms of yards after contact (I should have clarified) he is absolutely not. That’s why carries are more problematic. Yards after catch, yes he would be.

I also agree with you. He goes down very easy for appearing as elusive as he is. My career would be over if I took half the hits he has
