Why would he do that? I just saw it on Scout. I guess that means we are expecting to get McRyenolds? I just don't understand why he would go to Vanderbilt after a week ago saying he knows he made the right decision to commit to us.

We're pretty deep on the DL, so I wonder if we're making room for a CB.<div>
</div><div>Either way, I hate to lose him. He looked to be pretty solid.</div>

if its Dixon's decision given Vandy is the one SEC program with virtually no chance to win and the fact they just made a rather lackluster coaching hire.

I would think since Perry seems to be going to JUCO, that would give us only 22 scholarships taken, which would seem to me to have 3 spots left, so we should have plenty of room for Watson. I'm guessing we pulled his offer because we are deepest in this class at DL and we have other needs to fill. Need another CB, need an LB, and we could use another OL or WR.

If we have 3 spots left, we give the CB spot to Wilson, one spot to McReynolds, and then the other to some LB. I guess. I really don't know, but I'm guessing we didn't want to sign4 DL if McReynolds does commit. We have Jones and Maiden, with the possibility of McReynolds.Jones and Maiden are good enough for this class at DL, so I'm guessing we pulledDixon's offer and are trying to get an LB with that scholarship.

but I'm guessing we're the middle deer. A more accurate pic would be the middle deer receiving the projectile while the doe has slipped off and is loping away.

But I kept wondering who have we 17ed. I guess we did our 17ing during the season and have been getting 17ed since. Thanks for clearing that up.

I'll be shocked if he references something other than quality education when he gives the reason for the switch. I'm okay with the end decision (one I would advise my kids to make if they were mid-tier football recruits) if that's the case, but not with the decommitment crap. I'm sick of these recruits ignoring to definition of commitment.

Dude got a 1410 on the SAT, except it was on the 3 part SAT. Max score is a 2100 on the 3 part.A 1410 on the 2 part is agreat score, but on the 3 part, it's definitely not worthy of getting in to Vanderbilt. He also reports a 2.9 core GPA. I don't know how Vandy's requirements are adjusted for football players, but I know they wouldn't take any regular student with a 2.9 core GPA.

I'd be willing to be they're a lot closer to the rest of the SEC's requirements for football players than they are to the rest of Vandy's students.

Only three reasons I can think of as to why he picked Vandy:

1) Education
2) Early PT an proximity to home
3) He likes them better than us.

1 or 2 I could live with. 3 would be horrific to hear a recruit say.

i have always prefered Starkville, but i'm sure the strip in Nashville can sway some recruits. and some people just prefer city life.

The Wire is full of wisdom.

"You come at the King, you best not miss"

"Look the part, be the part, M*****, F****r"

"A man must have a code"

"My name is my name"

I could go on, but there are two types of people. People that have watched the Wire, and people that haven't.

Please feel free to provide me with details. I'm serious. I'd like for one person to put themselves out there and tell me exactly what they are hearing and about who they are hearing it. I'm so confused about these rumors over here, I'm not sure which ones yall do believe or which ones you don't.<div>
</div><div>Please explain. I'm not trying to flame. I just want to know.</div>

about his former offensive coordinator that "he was great, as long as we kept him away from the recruits?"

for any Bear fan to talk about snitching when you INVENTED the act of hiring PIs to follow recruits and coaches around for the express purpose of turning it in to the NCAA is beyond laughable. What we turned in was brought to US by Cecil Newton, we didn't go out looking for it like you good folks on the Plantation.

he will be playing as a true freshman whereas we are telling him he will need to RS. Heck, is playing your first year REALLY worth spending your career at Vandy unless you are looking out for your academics?
