the first time they would have eventually gotten him in, it is the way they roll. As far as Garcia is concerned USC is playing him well by not telling him what his fate will be until middle of this summer. This timeline will make it much more difficult for him to transfer and get in sync with another program by the first game. If USC does not reinstate Garcia I would not at all be surprised to see Nutt make a run at him.

and at the time were really needing a QB signee his Mom (who supposedly he is returning for now) was basically begging him to sign with MSU but he wouldn't have it because he had to go live his dream to play for WV and be the next Pat White. What a pathetically short-lived unfulfilled dream.

I just don't see why he was granted the waiver. The kid chose to go to West Virginia knowing how his mother was. Couldn't win the starting role so transfers to Ole Miss. He is quoted today as saying his mother is "getting better and better daily." Just doesn't add up. Doesn't really matter though. They'll still suck defensively and have one quarterback over 6'.
the decision was supposed to be handed down last week and with the unexpected delay, there was an accompanying degree of concern that they had found reason to deny it... or at least not approve it, which is what I was told, that as of last week "it wasn't going to be approved"- thus why I brought the rumor out
