Ridiculous it was even at risk. He had more yards in 11 games than Jeffries had in 14. And Sanders still doesn’t get credit for his 222yards rushing in the bowl game.
Good. If they are going to mess with records like that, either give guys like Barry their bowl game yardage or focus on yards per game over a full season. Guys breaking records with MULTIPLE extra games is ********.

They said last night that Sanders bowl yardage was never counted. His was made before the NCAA started county bowl games.

It’s ridiculous that they don’t include pre-2002 bowl game stats in season/career totals.

As good as Jeanty is, and he’s real good, it’s crazy how much better Senders was. Over 2,800 yards rushing & 42 TDs in a 12-game season. That’s insane.

Best RB ever, sans possibly Jim Brown and before anyone says it, "NO" Emmitt Smith was not better than either of the two aforementioned.
Emmitt Smith was a good running back running behind a really good offense line and was very, very fortunate to have a very healthy career. I do not want to diminish his contributions as much as I hate the Cowboys, but he is NOT the best ever.

Correct. He played behind arguably one of the best OL's in the history of the NFL. Think what Sanders would've rushed for behind that Dallas OL.

I'm a huge Cowboys fan, and there is no doubt whatsoever that Barry Sanders is the best RB to ever play the game.
