I got a letter from Byrne and Cohen yesterday about my chairbacks that I have had for 8 years. I was relieved to learn that there will be no change in my seats. HOWEVER, any new seats that come open will be prioritized by anuual contribution. Furthermore, there will be an annual gift required on each seat as well as the purchase of season tickets, again new seats only. There will be no change to the current seatholders, as long as they order season tickets. After about $4000 for the rights and approximately $5000-$6000 for season tickets over 8 years, I'm glad my money hasn't gone to waste for me. If you want chairbacks, apparently it is time to try. I've got to believe that the next expansion will have this new criteria on all chairbacks.

a recession going on. A one time charge of 1000 for each seat and season tickets each year should be sufficient.

As long as there is a waiting list for chairbacks the seats obviously aren't too expensive. Average Joe is more than welcome to sit in the bleachers.

they will use your overall donations to prioritize. In other words, your overall Bulldog Club donations decide who gets the new avaialable seats. It would be tough to pay a yearly fee just for baseball and buy season tickets, because season tickets have gone up to $200 apiece. I'm from Tupelo, and still only make a handful of games per year. At $800 for four tickets, that's more than enough money to spend.
