Let's say Landon Sims never became a starter for us. (only ever our closer)

Would it have made a difference in his draft stock?

Would teams think less of the kid even though he pitched substantial innings and struck out a ton of people?

Would MLB teams not say, "within our system, we could easily turn him into a starter"?

I don’t see how it could’ve hurt him to remain a closer. Maybe showing a pitcher can last for 5+ could help improve their rating some?
