We are currently in a three way tie for 9th place (Alabama and Vanderbilt)
We are one game out of the SEC Tournament (Auburn)
We are 43rd in the RPI
We are projected to finish 37th in the RPI

Auburn is 21st in the RPI, so taking 2 of 3 would be very beneficial. Also, Kentucky is a top 25 RPI team as of now.

Key scheduling: We have two games upcoming with Middle Tennessee. They are 20-4 and 26th in the RPI. South Alabama and Northern Illinois are going to kill us later. USA is 11-15 (127th) and NIU is 10-14 (170th)

Additionally, Hawaii is a top 10 RPI team.

At this time last year, we were 2-7 in the conference and had played two teams in the top 20 of the RPI.

that MTSU will kind of cancel out USA sucking because normally you would expect the opposite to happen- for MTSU to be bad and USA to be pretty good.

This series against Auburn is going to be huge for us and them. Winning it could potentially help us out later. I agree with Cohen- it's good that we got Georgia and Arkansas out of the way this early.

My hope is that with the schedule easing up somewhat, that we can maybe get hot and put together some wins.

I think 13-17 in the conference would be a damn good accomplishment for this team. That would be a 4-game improvement over last year and would be borderline good enough to get us to Hoover and/or an NCAA regional.
