I was surprised seeing Virginia pre-season ranked 9th. I thought they pretty much lost everyone when BOC departed.

The Duke coach came and brought all six of his coaches with him. The strength coach is the only holdover from previous years.
Wow! It would be some good baseball if we were to match up with UVA in a super or Omaha next year.

The Duke coach brought several of their players with him. But yeah, I don't think they'll be a super regional team, much less #9. Think Auburn & Tennessee are probably overrated too.
I agree, Auburn and Tenn lost some key players, seems Tenn has reached somewhat of a stale situation, still good but not dominate. I wonder what is going on with the clubhouse, sometimes players get tired of certain situations with a HC. Butch will be at Auburn and maybe retire there.
Just like karma coming along and giving OM a title right after us. We’ll meet VA in the championship game and lose it.
