I'm not familiar with him.. looks like he's only pitched a couple of innings this year. Hope he recovers.

He was expected to be our 2nd or 3rd best reliever behind Broadway. It hurts. Our bullpen was already a question mark, and Cioffi being done just puts that question mark in bold and italics. Injuries really starting to pile up on us. Justin Bench is now questionable for the weekend, as well.

But, hey, at least I’ve got my excuses prepped and ready now, right!?!? I mean SURELY y’all will beat this Ole Miss team. We are the walking wounded, bringing our few remaining warriors into Dudy Noble just for the spirit of competition!

UM has lost two straight series. We have won two straight. They are pretty hot at the plate right now (even without what’s his name that got hurt).
UM wins 2. Would love to be wrong though.

Y’all take 2 of 3. Elko and Bench being out and our bullpen woes, plus the Dudy Noble advantage are too much to overcome. Nikhazy throws a gem on Saturday and we get the W, sandwiched between two MSU wins.

Friday - MacLeod is dominant, MSU 4- OM 2

Saturday - Nikhazy is sharp and we catch a few of Bednar’s fastballs - OM 6-3

Sunday - McDaniels struggles in the 4th and 5th and our bullpen depth, or lack thereof, rears its head - MSU 8 - OM 6
