and maybe even Saturday. 3-1 is good. 2-2 acceptable. Less a failure. 4-0 gravy.

and Forrest Moore cements himself as a weekend guy with another good performance.

If we can pull out the first two, I could see us having more than a better chance of finishing the weekend 3-1. The big question mark to me is going to be Thursday and definately Sunday. Thursday, because Bowen still hasn't gone longer than like four innings I think, and pitching depth will be pretty short come Sunday.

Im gonna go 3 and 1. I think we pitch Forrest Moore maybe Friday or Saturday so he can be ready for his mid week start next week. I think if we do that, we should go 3 and 1 with Moore, Routt and Bowen pitching in some order thursday thru saturday. I think our biggest chance for a loss is sunday, and everyone seems to be in agreement with that. 2 and 2 is ok, but I really think we can get 3 out of this weekend. Always a chance for rain in Hawaii so I think a double header may help us out towards a 3 and 1 with the amount of depth we have on the team if that situation were to occur.

I think we can get 3 of 4. The warm weather will be a nice change for the team. I am concerned over the travel but I would think Cohen has the guys on a strict schedule. Hawai'i doesn't look to have too much offense so we may be able to pressure them, especially if we get a lead.

Also, I don't think we plan on starting Forrest Moore during the week anymore, especially for a team like Valpo.

It seems like someone earlier was saying games out of the Continental U.S. don't count record wise.

If so, they are a complete dubmass. Of course these games count. Hawaii = Division 1 NCAA team.

I may be remembering wrong, but it seemed to me that Tennessee played 60 regular season games (all games counted) due to a Hawaii trip. I was wondering if the rule had been changed.

why these or any other games played in Hawaii wouldn't count, simply because they're not in the intercontinental U.S. That makes no sense at all.

I must be remembering wrong as I can't find a record of it on the UT site.

In football, didn't teams used to get to play a 12th game in football if they played in a game in Hawaii?

Edited to add: I found an article where UT-Arlington played a 61-game schedule in a year in which they played Hawaii.

Games outside the continential US have traditionally not counted against the number of games you're allowed to play in a season, but they've always counted on your record.</p>
