This isn't a rant at all, just a dose of reality....
I've watched MSU baseball through good times and bad since the 80s, and I think some need to go ahead and adjust their expectations for this team. I honestly didn't expect us to be near as good we were predicted this year, but this start is even well below my expectations. If you think back to last season as a whole we were simply a "pretty good" team that got hot at right time. Right now we are exactly what we were last year without one crucial person, Graveman. We could always count on Graveman for a solid outing and to eat up innings. We don't have that now. Every start is a crap shoot, and that isn't going to go well with our below average hitting. CT and Jake are about the only guys in the lineup hitting with any consistency, and we strike out more than any team I've ever seen.
We're still a regional team, but not at all looking like a host. We need a pitcher to step up and be "the guy" and we desperately need about 4 more guys to start getting hits on a regular basis.

Bradford consistent?

Hilarious. He bats .200 this weekend. Last weekend he goes 4 for 4 in one game with 2 bunt singles and an infield single. The rest of last weekend he goes 0 for. Armstrong should be our centerfielder.
