Baseball Research Help Needed From Diamond Dawg Fans

Hello Friends,

Looking for some research help for the media guide. Was hoping I could use your memories for help and guidance. I'll give two tickets to a few games to whoever can answer all correctly.

None of these things have happened from 2007-2013 I am led to believe and I'm trying to speed up the process before digging through years and years of box scores.

1) When is the last time MSU as a TEAM had three triples in a game?
2) When is the last time MSU as a PITCHING STAFF struck out 20+ batters in a game?
3) When is a the last time a MSU PLAYER scored five runs in a game?
4) When is the last time a MSU PITCHER had a complete-game: A) Shutout on the ROAD B) Shutout as a FRESHMAN C) Shutout in the POSTSEASON D) One-Hitter E) Two-Hitter

Lastly, there is no timetable on this final one, but when is the last time a MSU PLAYER stole home -OR- had a pinch-hit home run.

Didn't someone have a 1 or 2 hitter against Ole Miss 4 or 5 years ago. I know they went to 9th with a no hitter. Name fails me but he was a workhorse right hander.

Maybe they did, but they must have gotten lit up because from 2007-13 none of the above qualifiers are found, even against that school.

Rickey Bowen had a no hitter going into the 9th vs ole miss a few years back. He have up a couple of seeing eye singles and we won like 2-0 or something.

Alan johnson shut out om in 03 in oxford. Complete game. 7-0. I know a ton of stuff but those are some impossible questions

Was Rickey Bowen in 08. Had the no no thru 8.2 and woulda had the no hitter but russ sneed booted a ball at short with one out. Bowen retired the next hitter, which shoulda completed the no hitter but because of the error an extra batter came up in the 9th and slapped one thru the 6 hole for the first hit. Bowen did not finish the game however.

Am I reading this wrong or are you only wanting this info from '07-'13 so that you can avoid going thru those boxscores?

I think he's saying they didn't happen 2007-13, and he's wanting to avoid digging through pre-2007 boxscores.

Kyle, have you asked Coach Polk? I'm sure he was the HC for each of those events. He could likely give you some leads.
