supposedly Polk was at practice recently and was watching from the bushes with binoculars. An assistant coach saw himsince he was wearing a bright colored shirt and waved at him, so Polk hides further in the bush. This sounds sketchy to me since he sounds welcome on the field or in the dugout, but its from a reliable source so take it for what its worth. I just thought it was a funny story.

about the words "Polk" and "in the bush" being used in the same sentence.

There, I didn't say it.

back, then leaving, then supporting Tommy, I find it a very long stretch of the imagination that he would be lurking in the bushes to watch infield in a Fall workout. PPPPPPLEASE! No matter how much I disagree with his path to retirement, I can't imagine him, with all that he did for MSU, accomplished for SEC baseball as a whole, hanging out in the cedars that Clark, Palmeiro, and Bruce regularly launched balls into. If true, ultimate low in respect.

Damn I would hope he would just walk in like he owns the place(cause he kinda does in a my name is on the place kinda way) he seems wayto arrogant to be hiding in bushes and such. But if its true, it will be sadly amusing

the sourcewas seriousand said they saw it happen. Since this is a rumor board and its from somebody reliable, I decided I owed it to Sixpack since I've gotten information on here and the source is legit. And Shumely, we get wireless internet on campus so the plug didn't give him away.

/I'm joking about Polk using wireless internet. However, everything else is not a joke.

especially if after he saw something he didn't like.

Perhaps he was trying to remove his name from the field. I bet that's it. Did anyone find a bolt cutter in the bushes?
