The student tickets went "on sale" (they're still free) this morning. Word on the street is that only 36 student tickets for each game were given out. Ridiculous.

There's a whole lot of chair back season ticket holder Bulldog Club donors that could not get tickets this year that would love to have those 36 FREE seats

The student tickets went "on sale" (they're still free) this morning. Word on the street is that only 36 student tickets for each game were given out. Ridiculous.

It really is way past time for us to just let people be grownups and make their own decisions. If you're comfortable with the risk, go to the game. If you're not comfortable with the risk, don't go to the game. Really not that hard. The only challenge is now you've sold tickets to some fans when those fans had the expectation that they were going to be sitting in a half empty stadium, and just offering them refunds probably won't make all of them happy.

But especially with the number of people that have had COVID, or the vaccine, or are low risk to begin with, it's time to stop freaking out and let people manage their own risk.
