There was a 3 run homer so at least one of the runs was earned.all unearned...lovely
No-all 4 runs were unearned because of an error earlier in the inning. There was a 3 run homer so at least one of the runs was earned.
I may or may not have known that scoring rule at one time but I currently suffer badly from CRSIf an error would have resulted in a third out, every run after is officially unearned.
72° down there today 74° here. Wonder what the odds of that happening on College opening day is.
Nice comeback but, just not enough. Baseball is a cruel game. You can win or tie 8 innings out of 9 and still lose the game.
If that's the case, I am the best golfer in the history of the game.Baseball is like every other game. The team that scores the most wins.
Baseball is like every other game I care about. The team that scores the most wins.

Erstad always does this.Ditto. Hate that.
He was great last year in a 9th inning closer role. Not sure why we had him pitch 3 innings this time.Well we certainly tried to give game 2 away. Luensmann was very shaky.
The only reason I think is they are testing to see if he can be a legitimate starter. That's what the radio guys mentioned. He was great last year in a 9th inning closer role. Not sure why we had him pitch 3 innings this time.
