I am hoping for 2 but think it will probably be just 1. I haven't even looked at how South Carolina has done this year, so I really have no good reason for my opinion.

Carolina is 10-2 but has played a much weaker shedule than we have. Boyd ranks us #48 (#95 schedule) and ranks them #57 (#181 schedule). I really see this weekend as a tossup, but tend to get a little sheepish when I'm predicting things.

What happens if the whole series is rained out?

I'm thinking one win, but who knows. Maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised.

downpour. Cohen wants to play no matter what and South Carolina is probably thinking sweep and would want to get three games in.

to put his team out there on a field that's not safe. They'll make every effort to play 3 if possible, but if it's raining (not just a light drizzle) they won't play.

that is up to the umpire.

I know this is confusing with all of the chicken-shitness of Nicholls State, but the umpire has the final call. Now, you shouldn't run out of town three and a half hours before the game just because you don't want to play. And most people don't. That's why it was chicken ****. You should at least wait until gametime and allow the umpires a chance to get to the game. And that's why Nicholls State lied about the umpires being able to make it- because they knew that if they left and the umpires could make it, they would have to forfeit.

Most games he's started he's looked like he could not throw a ball in the ocean, much less throw strikes.
