Huge game tomorrow at the hump against a solid Vandy team.

Call me a huge sheep but if we can get past Vandy tomorrow I think we can run the table at home. Florida will also be a huge test but we seem to handle them ok at home.

If we run the table at home, we have the ability to knock off Ole Miss, Auburn, and Georgia on the road. We would be looking at 12-4 and maybe an SEC championship because the East will beat the hell out of each other.

The weakness of the West leaves me VERY optimistic.

If we have an off game, you can write it down for a loss because we still can't score inside enough to counter a bad shooting night.

but it's our strength and I'm glad we're playing to it. We obviously have some guys that can shoot it, so why not let em? But yeah, it's gonna come back to bite us in the *** sooner or later.

When in Rome......yeah they need to keep shooting it because they have been on fire for several games now. We do actually have several shooters now and its kind of like "surely they can't all shoot bad in a game". Someone will step up for one game when the others don't.

That is the way I am looking at it. We have enough shooters on the team that I just hope someone will be able to step it up every game

...I think we've got a better shot at LSU on Wednesday. As you said, tonight's game is huge. And I think 12-4 is about the minimum to put us in the dance or on the cozy part of the bubble. Anything less than that and our RPI will keep us out. To get to 12-4, we need to win the next four, Vandy, @LSU, OM, @UGA. If we can do that, we can finish 6-4 and probably get in. Our toughest road games will be @UK, @UT, @OM, and maybe @Bama. To get to 12 wins, we need to run the table at home and win 3 more on the road. So we simply can't afford to give up one yet. If we can somehow get to 6-0, I'll start to feel like this team has a chance to dance. If we can't, I think it's the NIT for us this season.

Almost every year we have an inside presence but this year is a little different.

I think with "MSU" on our jersey it might take 12 SEC wins to get in the NCAAs. However it is hard to imagine an 11-5 or even 10-6 SEC team getting left out. Off the top of my head I would say that has never happened before.
