Basketball expectations this year

Whether you're a supporter, hater, or somewhere in between, what do you see happening this year?

Looking over the schedule, I'm saying 23-8. We'll lose to one of either A&M or Arizona, Baylor, @Ark, @Vandy, @Florida, Kentucky, @Bama, and then one incomprehensible loss. I think we'll only win one game in the 2K Classic but if we do somehow win that thing, we could have a special season ahead. With Bost, Moultrie, Hood, and Sidney anchoring the lineup, it's possible. Of course, both reality and history would tell us that it's not very likely, though.

Edited to add: My record is obviously prior to the SEC tournament. I'll be disappointed with anything less than a semifinals appearance in the conference tournament and the Sweet 16 in the dance this year.

If we're good, I'm just going to treat that as a happy surprise. Realistically, we should be good, but Stans's group of morons has found too many ways to 17things up lately for me to get too excited until I start seeing some tangible proof on the court.

we will probably get not making it out of the first weekend of the tourney. And if he can't make the tourney, Coach34 will hopefully be smiling.

I fully expect us to show up at the beginning of the year and lose at least two games because of tinkering (read this as not knowing what to do)with an offense that should have been done already. We'll also lose at least two games from going into the stall offense mid way through the second half. We'll lose at least one and maybe two games solely on a cold spell while jacking up threes. The other losses will come from a team being better than us from a coaching standpoint.

I also expect us to have a lot of issues with someone on the team being a ball hog. Stans always seems to let the inmates run the asylum and this year will be worse than ever with so many wanting and beingtalented enoughto be in charge.

I am thinking 21 - 10.

and for once, we got rid of him before he was able to become a real problem. I don't know how to compare the Euro teams to schools that we'll play this year, but I was pleased with the results from that trip. If nothing else, I'm confident that we'll be ok with or without Sidney. That said, I agree that our teams seem to be ticking time bombs going all the way back to the Gary Ervin ordeal so I think we're all just waiting for the next explosion.
