Basketball Game on DirectTV Channel 79 at 4:30*

I do not and have never had direct tv. Are the channels universal? If I go to the sports bar, and ask them to turn it to channel 79, will that be the same channel no matter where I am?</p>

I apologize but I don't know. I don't have directv but am at some family that does. They get 79.

I don't get channel 79, either. I'm thinking it's only with DirecTV HD.

so I'm pretty sure it only comes with the HD package. It is channel 79 AND channel 306. And I'm pretty sure that Directv channels are universal, so if a bar has it then it should be the same, but you can always call and just ask them to scroll ahead on the guide because the game is listed in the guide at 4:30.
