How do you see the starting line-up/minutes breaking down?<div>After watching Deville Smith last night, I can't see a way not to play him at least 25 minutes a game.</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span">WendellLewis is MUCH improved also. He needs to play.</span></div>

That's ridiculous. He was one of, if not the, best shooters and defenders on our team last season as a true freshman. I expect him to start.

I'd say swap he and Bryant in your prediction.

I think i lot of our rotation will depend on game situation - if we play a teams that is pressing, Deville will get more PT for the other ballhandler. Rick has a lot of options with this group. He can go small and put Ro Johnson in there for a bit at the 4 with Moultrie at the 5 for energy and run or we can go big and slow it down (which I think we'll do more of)

Like others I really like the makup of this team and we can go with the hot hand at the 2 guard. Bryant is a little more diverse, but Steele is a good defender with the better jumper. We can also slide Bost over to the 2 some.

Last night, two students who were at thescrimmagewere drawn and each picked a player from the team for a 3pt contest. (winner got to go to Florida)<div>The first guy picked Bost.</div><div>The 2nd guy asked Stans who is the best shooter on the team and Stans said Steele but Steele cut his hand so he couldn't shoot. So Stans then said Shuan Smith.</div>

I look for us to rotate Steele in some at the 3 though to go with 3 guards with the two bigs- we dont really have a back-up 3 for Hood, so guards will rotate in that spot based on need and who is playing well.<div>
</div><div>We only need to play 8 guys most nights- bring on Smith, Steele, and Lewis to rest guys and prevent foul trouble- but I'm sure we will have hockey line substitutions, especially early in the year....</div>

Did Smith win? My count was 12-10 but they said they tied and did it again and Bost won.

I don't see how Bryant is a better option than Steele. Steele can shoot and take his guy off the dribble. I am tired of having non-scorers at a primary scoring position

with one caveat...Both Sidney and Lewis have a propensity to get into foul trouble, which is why I think we will see Johnson getting some bench minutes.

our 2 guys that will be running the offense are the PG and the Center- they will both be taking lots of shots

Bryant vs Steele is pretty even overall although both bring some different things to the table so I think Rick will just go with the hot hand from night to night. One night Steele may play 28 minutes, the next night he may play 12 and vice versa.

Bryant is the Sr. so he'll start since Rick loves to reward the upperclassmen. Word from Europe trip was that Bryant was the most improved on the team so I'm interested to see him live this year.
