just because he's the only one that will maintain considerable playing time.

Everyone else has crazy amounts of competition, whether thats the 4-5 big guys in the 3-5 or the 4-5 small guys in the 2 and 3 spot.

He will lead in minutes significantly and therfore scoring. Unless of course his assist total is just absolutely absurd, which is possible as well

I say JV will work hard to continue to improve his offensive game. This along with having a couple of more big men to take the pressure off of him down low should cause him to score more. Maybe a few more open dunks a game.

I think he's gonna play a great deal of minutes, and probably duplicate a great deal of the frustration we had with him last year. He'll score a team leading 12-13.5 pts a game though.

I think JV will be the most effective on the court, but probably not the most productive strictly on points.

of all the players he is one of the ones Coach Stansbury has the most faith in to run the offense through and will benefit the most from the presence of Sidney. When Varnado was played one on one last year he was a scoring machine. Put a great passing big man in there with him who is also capable of scoring then he might explode next year. In sum, I believe that Sidney may have better single game highs than Varnado but throughout the season I believe Varnado will maintain consistently the highest average.

Just my opinion, but having two dominating post players means that opposing teams can't extend their defenses anymore. Renardo Sidney averaged 2.2 assists per game in his senior year. I think The Varnado and Renardo Show is going to really open up the outside for us. They will get their share of interior points, but I think one of the 3 point shooting perimeter players will lead the team in scoring. I think this team will be very balanced, I doubt we have any 20 ppg scorers. Since he is a senior, I think Barry Stewart will be the first perimeter option, and Ravern the second. It is hard to forecast scoring ranges when you know nothing about potential injuries, etc., but I would like to see six players in double figures.

He likes to play outside. That's not a weakness though, it's simply a different kind of threat. He's huge and can shoot the three, causing many matchup problems. Apparently as of now his biggest weakness is playing with his back to the basket. But his face-up game is really good.

Especially if we get Sidney. I think Sidney will open up the inside for Jarvis to do more of what he does.

Even if we don't get Sidney, I still think JV will lead in scoring.

for a good high-low post game, surrounded by shooters. varnado can work around the basket, and sidney can thrive in the mid-range area.
