Been talking with a friend and we have totally different perceptions of coach Rick Stansbury. My friend is content with good recruiting and making the Tournament every 1-3yrs. He also thinks that Stansbury is the best coach we can have.<div>
</div><div>I on the other hand, think that Stansbury is an underachiever, he seems to always have these good players that he cannot do a damn thing with. There are countless names that have come through with a heaping helping of talent that Stansbury has more or less ruined. I understand it's tough to get through to some players but I think he simply does not work the players hard enough (with examples being Renardo Sidney still being out of shape and no one having the ability to make a <17>ing free throw). We have had no players drafted other than Lawrence Roberts....a big man that rebounds almost more than he scores doesn't take much coaching, if any. </div><div>
</div><div>I do not know too much about college basketball anymore, other than MSU, so it's safe to say that I cannot name a coach that can replace him, so when I am asked by my friend who can replace him I'm stumped. Is it just me or is anyone else tired of mediocre basketball? I mean, have we even made it to the Sweet 16 with Stansbury at the helm?</div><div>
</div><div>So my question is...</div><div>
</div><div>(Note: I realize that I may have a few mistakes in here about drafted players among other things. Please feel free to correct me)</div>
