Basketball Practice Facility Renderings

From the Lake. These pics were apparently at the Hump when people picked their seats. Personally, I like this look much better than the original.

...so excuse the question. But, is that planned to be on the side of the Hump that faces Sanderson? It has to be, right? We're bound by Dudy Noble to the north, the Palmeiro Center to the west, and, whatever road that is south of the Hump.

I guess the only reason I ask is I haven't heard the bitching from the people that park their RVs there yet.

It's going to be on the West side, so same side as the Palmeiro Center to the south of it. I believe it will attach to the Hump at or near the ticket office.

And building a new basketball arena? I guess this effectively ****-cans that idea. I like the Hump, so I'm not bothered.

Can we move the girls games to the new facility? It should make it a little more cozy for Fanning and the 10's of 10's of fans.

And I know they talked about expanding it forever or rebuilding it but they have a plan where they can effectively add i think up to 1000 more seats to the Hump by raising the roof and building up. But they can't do any of that until they get the basketball practice facility.

The campus master plan map always had the Hump show even with the new basketball arena. So, I suppose the possiblity of the new arena isn't dead. The practice facility would just be across the street. Obviously would be more logical to have all basketball related facilities in one building, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if they were separated by a couple hundred yards.

I agree with Mutt that it looks it will be facing toward scott field. The part of the hump that comes off from the circle part looks like where the student entrance is.
