Read on Veazy's notebook that the first major contribution has come in and it was $500,000. Does this mean that we are no where near getting a facility in the next few years? Thought we were making more progress than this.

that its money that's actually been paid versus pledges.

Didn't Flick say the Rulas alone had pledged $500K last night? And then goatherder pledged another ridiculous amount.

Im just rambling about this.

initially said they pledged 5K. Mr. Rula just shrugged his shoulders and laughed. Then a few minutes later, Flick comes back and says it was 500K.

If they get the job, then I'm sure they will give the 500K! Then they will get it back with interest.

also that 500K may be the biggest contribution but each game they have presented the gold cowbells to someone has also recommitted additional monies. If I add correctly we are pushing one mil just in the people we'ver recognized at halftime.

Out of extreme boredom and idiocracy on my part, I was listening to pornfro's terrible excuse for a radio show weeks back when the Ninja was being interviewed. Apparently, he said that the ground breaking of the BB practice facility was around 3 or 4 months away. I believe they have all the funds for the facility and are now just finding time to recognize the donors for their contributions at the games. I really don't believe it has anything to do with the fact that we may still have insufficient funds for the structure.
