State goes up two with 2 seconds left. Ky calls timeout and in a stroke of luck Demarcus Cousins is granted eligibility from a court injunction to enter the game for KY. Cousins promptly gets a rebound and holds the ball until the final buzzer goes off and then puts a layup in while State is celebrating. The refs determine they can’t review the bucket so it counts. This sends the game to overtime where KY wins by 6.
85-79 Kats.
Cousins makes the call me cell phone gesture to the crowd and walks off the court for his last game as a Wildcat!
This is 100% the type of scenario that plays out in my mind every time we play KY at home!

I have the same feeling as many of y’all. Seen this movie many times before. We play scared to death of their jersey color. Also I agree that Calipari will have beaten into the heads of our officials that our bigs play entirely to physical therefore should be awarded more fouls against our bigs.
Over and under number on how many totally BS calls will go against us?
Also I’m concerned with our size miss match in guarding their outside shooters. Shak and Hubbard.

I might give us a chance we had a better matchup, but they don't match very well with our lineup.

At least two of our main players get in early fouls trouble and both, plus another one, eventually foul out. We still outscore Kentucky from the field by 2 but they beat us by 25. They miss more free throws than we attempt.
Cal after the game complains about how physical MSU was and says the refs should have got a handle on it sooner. The ESPN talking heads agree.

My only concern is in the stretch of 5 games. its been nearly 3 weeks since we've played against a high level foe. We need to adjust back to the talent level of our opponent pretty quick.
