20-5 (9-3). Their record is better than what I've seen when watching them. They are a really good team but I'm kind of shocked by their SEC record. After looking, they have played a weaker first 2/3 of their SEC schedule. Yet to play Tennessee, Florida, Auburn.

I think this game is one State can win, if they do, it will pleasantly surprise me but not shock me.

A&M’s worst two losses were to TX and Oregon which are 31 & 32 in the net, State = 30. They have beaten better teams than State and not lost to a team like Butler who is 81st. I know that game was in Arizona in back to back games and early in season but state had that loss and A&M does not.

77-72 Tex Ags and hope we win, it is in Starkville.

This is going to be a rock fight. A&M hasn’t scored 80 points in over a month but they’ve still won 5 in a row. And if anyone remembers our games against them both of the last two years, they were both pretty ugly offensively too.

I think we are due in one of these big home games and finally get it done. Like this matchup better than Bama/UK/UF

A&M is a well coached, smart team. They will leverage anything possible with a great gmeplan and most likely both outwork and outsmart us tonight.

Expect a lot of missed 3-pointers and free throws tonight. We are 300th in the country in 3-point shooting and A&M is 310th. We both shoot a little over 31% from three. A&M is also 290th in free throw percentage while we are 299th. Both shooting a shade over 67%. However, A&M is 5th in the country in rebound margin, averaging nearly 10 more rebounds per game than their opponent. They also are #1 in the country in offensive rebounds per game, averaging more than 16 per game. We are 87th and 36th, respectively, in those categories. We need to be close to even in the rebounding margin, and make a few more threes than usual, while hoping our 308th ranked 3-point percentage defense holds them to at least their 3-point average. I want us to pick us to win; but every time I do, we lose. So I’m going the other way.

I will be in the house. Hope that's not too much pressure for the squad.

I can see them attaching the paint early and getting easy baskets and putbacks. We have to be ready for that. We also don’t need to just jack up threes. We need to counter them with layups too. They are the most annoying team to play. They don’t do anything offensively great and the next thing you know, you’re down 10. I think

Pay no attention to my score prediction but A&M about to experience pain on the back 1/3 of the schedule.
