Per Rosebowl last night:

Rinardo Sidney was on campus for a visit. The word is that he might officially visit MSU later in the year. It also looks like MSU will possibly sign 3 players
this year, instead of 2. I'm guessing the two (besides Smith) will be between Gallon, Sidney, and LaTavious Williams. I don't think we can land Sidney.
That would be a very nice class and there is a huge need for a big time post guy.

pretty much everything ive read over the last couple months regarding Renardo is that he is planning on going the Jennings route and playing overseas. since he and his dad are so close to Sonny Vaccaro, the guy who manufactured Jennings' deal, as well as the fact that Renardo is not a scholar and also apparently not the cleanest of recruits, talk of him turning pro and bolting to the Euro leagues has been pretty strong as of late.

he and osby are tight. and i remember seeing him on the sidelines at a state game in jackson when he was in 8th or 9th grade. you know how stans works on stars early. sidney was at last year's high school all-star game in clinton (osby's junior year).

i've been holding out hope that we at least have a shot with him, and although it's a fairly long shot, maybe stans can pull this one out. sidney, osby, bost, shaunessy - would be VERY exciting in starkville.

of course, i really hope we land gallon. and i saw latavious williams - he is a big-time athlete - reminded me of tyrus thomas.

I doubt we get Sidney but Gallon would be a huge pick-up. Williams reminds me of Tyrus Thomas somewhat as well due to his length and athletic ability, i'm just not sure he has a offer. Rosebowl has said several times he isn't sure how Williams recruitment is playing out or if he really has an offer.
