Basketball team - how I would do the rotation

Minutes shouldn't be a problem for this team and I've always been an advocate of making sure players know their role and what to expect PT wise. Obviously the last 5 minutes of any game should be based on who is producing, but otherwise setting a rotation shouldn't be that difficult. I also think it's hard to play more than 8 guys in a rotation and for now I'm leaving out Sidney since we have no idea if he'll make it.

STARTERS:

PG - Bost
SG - Stewart
SF - Ravern
PF - Kodi
C - Jarvis

BENCH:

G - Turner
F - Romero
C - Riek

First Half Sub Pattern:
15 min mark - Turner for Ravern, Osby for Kodi
12 min mark - Kodi for Bost
10 min mark - Bost for Stewart
8 min mark - Riek for Varnado, Ravern for Kodi
4 min mark - Varnado for Riek, Stewart for Turner, Kodi for Osby

1st half minutes: Bost (18), Varnado (16) , Stewart (14) , Kodi (13), Ravern (13), Turner (11), Osby (11), Riek (4)

Second Half pattern:

15 min mark - Turner for Stewart, Osby for Ravern
12 min mark - Riek for Varnado, Stewart for Bost, Ravern for Kodi
8 min - Varnado for Riek, Bost for Stewart, Kodi for Turner
5 min - Turner for Osby, Stewart for Ravern.

Second half minutes: Bost, Varnado, Kodi (16), Stewart (14), Turner, Ravern (12), Osby (10), Riek (4)

Total Minutes:

Bost - 34
Varnado - 32
Kodi - 29
Stewart - 28
Ravern - 25
Turner - 23
Osby - 21
Riek - 8

To me Stewart, Ravern, Turner are basically interchangeable on any given night so simply have to go with the hot hand. Still trying to figure out what we have in Osby.

except I take Raver's minutes down a couple and give them to Turner...pretty good breakdown

Also, I have no idea how much of a project Riek will be. He may not be good for 8 minutes per game. Otherwise, not a bad rotation.

I know that's a lot of minutes, I just trust him far more than anyone else on the team handling the ball, especially at the end of games.

As much as I'd like to play Jarvis 40 minutes a night, it's just hard for big guys to produce and not get tired playing big minutes, that' why I'm resting him a little in the middle of each half. Against guard oriented teams we could also experiment with Kodi at the 5 and Osby at the 4.

If Sidney gets cleared this only gets messier.

I think we can all agree that Benock should really not see meaningful minutes and although Lewis seems to be far better than anyone anticipated I don't think he's going to be more productive than Osby or Riek, so he just needs to wait his turn. Shaunessey needs to RS and get healthy
