Looks like an awesome story. People killed in Wayne Tower during Zod and Superman's fight, Superman becoming a God. How do you stop a God? Still have reservations about Afflek, but whatever.

First thing I thought when I saw this was Rodney King.[cheers]

I am not a nerd and do not understand what has gotten these two cross ways? Aunt Harriet? Lois Lane?

What a mess. How can DC Comics be so awful at translating its vastly superior roster of hero's & villains to the movie screen as compared to Marvel. It is like they have sat back for the last 7 years watching Marvel build a billion dollar franchise and finally got off their *** to catch up in 1 movie to what the others did over about 6 or 7 movies.

thought the idea of this movie was bad, and it looks worst with each trailer released thus far. they learned nothing from the criticisms of Man of Steel. Still dark, still depressing, still humorless, still with massive citywide distruction and mayhem. Lex Luthor looks and sounds AWFUL, and now here's wonder woman, and oh wait lets add in Doomsday and eventually Aquaman gets tossed into the fun as well.

Captain America Civil War will emasculate this film so badly next year in every way possible it will make UK - Alabama football look competitive.

Rack this. Thought the same thoughts. They are overdoing the first film.

I actually thought this trailer was edited to be overly jokey and light. It's like they were trying to make it seem more Marvelish. I like a lot of the Marvel films, but I prefer a dark tone.

The more I see and hear about this movie, the more I'm reminded of the great Norm MacDonald:

Already with Doomsday? Jesus.

This thing kills Superman and we're seeing him in the first trailer for the first movie.

Don't at all understand the point of the movie in the first place, have no idea what this batman vs. superman stuff is, and all the trailers look like a convoluted hot mess. I'm not a comic book nerd, just a regular dude in the general population. Have absolutely zero interest in this movie, and in general am tiring of the whole superhero movie genre to be quite honest. Looking forward to this fading and getting another trend going sometime soon hopefully.

And nowadays, when exactly does a trailer become a trailer?

First you have the sneak peak trailer, then the sneak pre-trailer trailer, then the pre-trailer trailer, then they release the "ok guys, here's the whole goddamn movie" trailer.

Throw away one of your top badass villains in the first team up movie, ok. You can't just throw Darkseid out there until at least justice League 3. How will you top Doomsday if you want to do like Marvel and slow build to your top guy? Doomsday should have been saved till end of Justice League 1 or beginning of 2 so you could do the whole Death of Superman series. I will still watch this but I hope it is better than these promos have been.

Disagree. I've seen plenty of teaser sneak peak pre-trailers while in the theater.

I guess my point is, just stop it already.

Work up an interesting / comprehensive but not revealing trailer and release it 4 to 5 months before the theatrical release of the film.

There are PLENTY of ways to promote a film without letting the audience see 45 minutes of it through officially released teasers.

The Avengers worked because Marvel invested a whole film in telling the story of Thor (along with 2 for Iron Man & another for Cap America). Having Wonder Woman pop up in the middle of this bowl of vomit is such a bad idea. Trying to cram everything in & rush this story to conclusion so they can start cranking out Justice League movies every 3 years after '16? OK, good luck with that DC.

I think DC is taking the approach they're taking in a way to try to be different from Marvel (which I don't think is a good reason to do something). I know I'm in the minority here, but I think the two Avenger films are among Marvel's weakest films because of the lack of character development (they rely on the solo films to do that). DC definitely has a challenge to try to juggle and develop their characters in this film. They don't need to do so with Superman. Supposedly the first half of this film is Batman heavy. How Wonder Woman fits in to this, I have no idea and I'm not familiar enough with the character to really speculate.

I agree on character development I have no idea how you can put so many characters in this film and expect non comic book fanboys to know who is who and their story. Single or Double character stories work because we get to know them. Look at Spiderman 3 it was a mess from the start because it tried to fit everything under the sun into the story. I agree on the Avengers movies also there is just to much going on in to short of time, thankfully the last one is 2 parts so hopefully with more time they can finish this story right.

I loved this trailer. Lex is a little grating but I think it can work especially if it breaks the seriousness of the film up a bit. There's still a lot we're not seeing of Wonder Woman and while Doomsday is a cool villain, he's pretty expendable since there's not a lot of character to Doomsday. Who we didn't see that are supposed to make cameos in the movie: Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg.

Count me as one of the few people who doesn't like most of the Marvel products. Other than Guardians of the Galaxy, I have only enjoyed Iron-Man and the Avengers. Agents of SHIELD is crap and I stopped watching it. Their only shows that I've really enjoyed are Jessica Jones and Daredevil.

SHIELD actually got a lot better. I thought the first season was terrible and gave up on it. Then I heard it gets better and gave it another shot and it does. I wouldn't call it a great show, Daredevil and Jessica Jones are much better, but I enjoy it. I also like Agent Carter.

Trailer was great, until Lex showed up. Worst casting ever. Then Doomsday. Then Wonderwoman. And we know Aquaman is around too.

Just way too much going on. Itll be terrible.

After watching this trailer, there's really no point in seeing this film. The whole goddamn plot was revealed. Batman and Superman are meanies to each other, Lex creates Doomsday from dead Zod, Superman and Batman kiss and make up, Wonder Woman shows up to battle Doomsday and the day is saved.

Pure ****.

The whole goddamn plot was revealed.

Precisely. Hollywood believes this is the proper way to promote a film. Happens constantly now.

And the Doomsday thing...if that's really how they want to do it with Lex being some kind of Frankenstein, that's hilarious and offensively stupid. To the point where that can't even be what happens. But trust....Lex will go bald during that electricity show, whateverTF it is.

The way Doomsday was created in the comics was so metal and brutal that it makes my balls engorged.

Originally known as "The Ultimate", Doomsday was born in prehistoric times on Krypton, long before the humanoid Kryptonian race gained dominance over the planet about 250,000 years ago. It was a violent, hellish world where only the absolute strongest of creatures could survive.[3][4] In a cruel experiment involving evolution, intended to create the perfect living being, the alien scientist Bertron released a humanoid infant (born in vitro in a lab) onto the surface of the planet, where he was promptly killed by the harsh environment. The baby's remains were collected and used to clone a stronger version. This process was repeated over and over for decades as a form of accelerated natural evolution. The agony of these repeated deaths was recorded in his genes, driving the creature to hate all life.

As it evolved, the child eventually became able to survive the high temperatures and searing atmosphere, only to be quickly slain by the vicious predators that inhabited the planet. Over time, and without the assistance of Bertron's technology, he gained the ability to thrive on solar energy without the need for food or air, to return to life and adapt in order to overcome whatever had previously killed him. The Ultimate hunted and exterminated the dangerous predators of Krypton. He then killed Bertron himself, whom he had come to identify as an enemy.[3]

Your loss. From the last 3rd of season 1 til season 3 currently has been fantastic. Must see TV for me as most episodes end with me upset because I want to know what happens next. Its not great in a "Breaking Bad" way but its fun as hell and they toss in some amazing twists here and there. It's not a Superhero show its a great Spy verses Spy show with tie ins to the MCU.

This Superman V Batman film looks over stuffed. The Civil War trailer looked much better.

I know it's hated, but Gotham has been superb

The second season has been better, but I'm still not a big fan of it. I guess I keep watching it because I feel obligated as a Batman fan. I did like the "Joker" arc they did and the actor who played him.

I would love to see an actual Batman show, something like Marvel has done with Daredevil and Jessica Jones, with a focus on the detective aspect of the character. Batman's rogues gallery is deep enough to support it, but it'll probably never happen.

1. Its supposed to be Lex Luthor Jr. so if they still have a Lex Luthor out there who is really sinister, then the role or Eisenberg is ok with me.

2. Doomsday looks like garbage. Just make him look like the doomsday from death of super man...

3. This movie should of been all about Super man VS Batman .... being manipulated by Lex Luthor Jr. who in the 2nd act gets red kryptonite ...... so in this movie Superman turns into the super villain. ... leave Doomsday for the absolute last shot who comes out to protect Lex Luthor Jr. and thus BVS ends on a scene where the Justice League movie can start.

I have not watched a single episode of gotham season 2. I said I was out if they did Joker without Batman. It's recorded so I may watch but yeah.

I too would like a Batman Year One type show focusing on his detective abilities.

Actually they didnt do Joker. He was the inspiration for the future and real Joker.
