I will agree. It's very important WVU can get rushing yards. Only had 63 last year. need about 70 to 80 more added to that to have a shot.

If we can be successful in the running game I think we win. If not it’ll be a long afternoon in my opinion.

WVU isn't at the point where they can go out and just push around many defenses up front.

They need to use their outside weapons. Get players out of the box so they can attack all over the field

Won't win in the Big 12 unless you can take advantage of space with your offense.

Neal Brown knows this. Reason why against Eastern Kentucky he was attacking downfield.
Matters if he can do that in the Big 12. Does he try to establish this early. If he can WVU could be a great Big 12 team this year.

More than that - WVU will need those numbers per back,
and WVU has a serious shot, anyway.

Oklahoma State is close to a complete team. They have some weaknesses but not enough that they can't improve and win the Big 12.

Neal Brown wins he is head of schedule. If he doesn't you see where the team looks now compared to the end of the year

Oklahoma State could win by double digits. I wouldn't use that Tulsa game at all. Talented team playing their Super Bowl against a team with backup QBs

Well.....

It is what Neal Brown has the team at the end of the year
The Oklahoma State game was originally scheduled at the end of the year and was going to be tough for WVU regardless.

I didn't watch too much of the game. Might catch some of it later so I can give you a better understanding.

But...
The program isn't there yet to compete with a program like Oklahoma State.

Especially an Oklahoma State team that was disrespected all week.
Now we will see what Neal Brown can do with this ..

I will use this as example.
Look at Tennessee last year. Year 2 under Pruitt
They lost to Georgia State and then BYU.
Ended up playing in the Gator Bowl.

Didn't let those losses define them.

WVU can't

If they do.
Baylor they will run them off the field....
