Baxter Questionable for Saturday

[JimboBBN]

Huge loss if he can’t go. Although I do trust Patterson can do well in most scenarios.

Not only Patterson but Barnes is capable and might have some extra juice playing against his former team.

What is making Baxter Questionable? He ran the OT TD in so he was in at the end of the LSU game.

Rumors he got dinged up in practice yesterday

[Ash Williams]

Jeez man. Both teams are decimated.

How is Afari questionable? I thought he was done after the court ruling?

Another one today.

Judge said he’d have a written decision, hopefully by tomorrow.

He took himself out and hobbled off the field one time late. Looked like an ankle.

[Tskware]

OU has a long list as well

[CutNets]

Our linebackers must be really hurt. This is two weeks and didn't get any of them back. That's worrisome

He was hurt in the 2nd half and played through it

It could also be something soft tissue like a hamstring that isn’t major major, but just needs some time to heal.

I’d be willing to bet Baxter will be ready to go on Saturday. Guy has things to prove this year.

Yeah I think he goes as well. He’s made a believer out of me for sure but I still want more of Patterson. . He can take it to the house anytime and can get those extra yards while having three or four all over him. He’s turning into a bad dude. Barnes is looking great to. We really hit a home run this offseason with our OLine and backs. Saying that, I absolutely want Baxter on the field half the time.

Agree they hit some serious big hits with those guys…was expecting Baxter to good if he could stay healthy, but I’ve been very pleasantly surprised with Patterson’s big jump this season.

Nice thing is both Baxter & Patterson can return in 2027.

[Ghornsback]

The bye week coming up in 2 weeks could not come at a better time.

Will we get some LBs back?

[Wildcat4Ever]

Hopefully CJ will play

[gracetoyou]

Patterson has been really good! Why did he not play last Saturday? His yards per carry was higher comong into the game. Last Saturday is the first game I have been impressed with Baxter.

Nothing has been reported but I thought Patterson was a little dinged up in the LSU game.
