Nice job but we're 13-2. The pre-game break down yesterday was very sloppy. Why the heck did you put it up before it was ready.

Also the people who think Stan blew the game with a minute left....not many teams will be in that position to win with a minute left against Baylor.

Always look forward to your articles.

is a perfect seasoning. Leave the cayenne in the cupboard because you're not going to need it. I like the fact that it's not quite as satly as Tony's either.

And I think that SYM uses less than Tony's, too.

I was serious when I said it was really good stuff.

I still have Tony's in the cabinet but all we use now is Slap Ya Mama's

I like your persistence. Just hire someone who can write. You can have all the ideas and do everything you do with your site and whatever. Then just tell so and so what you want the story to say (general idea). You might have more of a talent to tell/direct someone else who might have better skill with writing and grammar. Just my input. Keep going after your dreams man. Oh and Montreal Steak seasoning is the bomb. Put it in a plastic bag with big peeled shrimp and oil and shake it up then pour the mix into a pan and cook over the grill. Best shrimp of yo life.

You don't have to agree with constructive criticism but at least have the sense to think about it. Also, don't insult the people who support you; save that for the Six Pack Speak Brotherhood of Grilling and Seasoning.

I don't agree that you should turn the writing over to someone else, but you would be well served by taking the task more seriously. You can get better; don't think that you're even in the ballpark of good enough now. Read something good and learn something. Stop posting stuff that you haven't carefully checked. It takes a few minutes and makes you better the next time out.

I do take the task seriously to say I don't is crap in my opinion. I'm a young and will make mistakes. so, i'm not going to sit up and act like i'm some superstar writer. But I do take offense to someone saying I should direct anything when they won't even use a real name to post the criticism. I take hours out of time to work on a preview and some butt hole says I need to direct I take offense to that sorry. It's even worse considering I have another job and use my free time to do this. I have no problem with sixpack speaks nature of being harshly critical but there are some lines you don't cross and that is one.

I'm not talking about the overall task; I'm talking about the writing. If you put down one word carelessly, and publish that word, are you taking that word seriously?

Trust me it don't go like that. But your point is valid. Like this one writer in this book i'm reading says the only way to get better is to continue to write. He says the more you write the more you get command over the english language. So, it's a process to become even an average writer. I enjoy the process. It will be great to look back 3 or 4 years from and see where I was and where i'm at. Like I told one poster at this site. I use criticism to make myself better even the harsh criticism.

I have written a bi-monthly column in my industry's longest-published magazine for eleven years. Part of my job is to review new material that is published in my industry. I am a paid writer and critic, and I assure you that I have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. I've seen it from the top publishers as well as from the smothering glut of self-published works that has invaded the marketplace over the past decade. Believe me when I tell you that a lot of "the bad and the ugly" comes from arguably talented people who, motivated by a desire to have their name on a product in the marketplace, hastily jump into publishing all of their developmental work as if it were a finished, professional product.

I agree with the author of the book you're reading that to get better, you must keep writing. I would only add that "keep writing" is not the same as "keep publishing everything you write." Practice happens in private, without fame or glory; then you rock the world as an impossibly talented "overnight" success.

Just one man's opinion, of course.

all you did was recommend he keep his articles private until its worth a ****, which I agree.

Give him your "professional opinion" on these articles he is posting daily. I thought that was the entire point of you giving us your resume'.

My opinion was framed as a recommendation that he should keep his writing to himself until it achieves higher quality. My résumé (a couple of sentences) wasn't intended to set the stage for a full-out smackdown. I mentioned it only to give some relevant context to my observation.

I save the full-out smackdowns for the magazine.

I was suggesting you be the "Boss" and leave the writing for your employee. I'm not sure how that's offensive to you. Would you prefer someone else is your boss and tells you how you should write and run your site? Direct is not an offensive word in the English language by the way. Take out the ret and add a k and you get dick which is an offensive word. Don't be a dick instead you should DIRECT your employee. Good luck hiring someone though cause you will blow up every time they ask you to direct them to the interview.
