They just mentioned on the broadcast that the last time an SEC team played at Baylor was 30 years ago. My first thought was no way. We played there since then so I looked it up. It was 1995. Damn. Then I noticed they never returned the trip. Would have sworn we played them in Starkville too. Anybody know why that was only a one game deal?

It was supposed to be a home & home. But the SEC expanded to 12 teams & went to an 8-game schedule so we postponed the return game. Then the big 8 merged with 4 SWC team & they went to an 8 game schedule. By then Baylor sucked bad & there was little interest in playing the return game.

They, being Baptists, are opposed to music in all forms, especially cowbells.
