Haha just decided after 4 years to go home? He will be back unless has no spot available
If Kevin Young had been named coach sooner, he would have talked him into staying like he did Ritchie Saunders. Pope was nervous which was why he flew to Utah with his wife to greet him when he came back from his Mormon mission. We shall see. I'm looking forward to being right, and I will start a thread lambasting you after he leaves.

He had relationship with pope is why he went there. Idc if he leaves or not but it will be because he doesn’t wanna play a bench role if he does.

He also wouldn’t have started at Kentucky and did every game at byu. But main reason was wife didn’t wanna leave BYU. Women are undefeated. No man is going to say my wife made me stay lol

You put a little too much mustard on that hotdog. Of course he would have started. And if another coach had been hired at BYU, he may not have stayed.

Where are you getting this from?
JJ has already been running his mouth about leaving.

Noah and Chandler are at a crossroads after 2 years.

Noah can ride fhe bench at UK or go to a school like Eastern and be more featured and be an All Conference type player. If he stays at UK and rides the bench, he could have some business opportunities if he stays in the state like Chris Harrison did.

Chandler followed Pope to a non Mormon school and may want to go back home to BYU and be around his own type of people. BYU has a good coach, plays in the best basketball league in the country, and has invested heavily in NIL to put a top team out on the floor. He can stay at UK and later wonder what would have happened had he stayed home at BYU or after a 2 year experience at UK, he may decide to go back home so he won't second guess himself later. I know BYU is going to approach him if they haven't already done so.

My biggest regret would be BYU would be getting his best years as lots of players make a big jump from their sophomore to junior years.

Did they just finish smoking a blunt? They seem very… .relaxed.
I think you got it. At first I just thought they looked like they didn't want to be there but now I see they just don't realize where there is.

This is fine by me, but all I've heard from JJ, is "Blue til I die".

Chandler isn’t at a crossroads, not sure where you came up with this.
Noah needs to go to EKU.

It's up to him, but he's never going to play professionally, so he might as well play any minutes he can at UK, become a local hero.

Okay, so you really don't know sh*t? You're going off a hunch? You're making these statements, like you know for a fact Chandler is leaving.

He already plays in the best basketball conference in the country and why would he go to BYU and play for a guy that just underperformed with a loaded roster?
My biggest regret would be BYU would be getting his best years as lots of players make a big jump from their sophomore to junior years.
why would that be your regret?

He’s real good and can jump out of the gym. Plays good defense he just doesn’t shoot well outside of the lane. I wouldn’t mind having him or Brady Shoulders. Shoulders is better than Noah or T Perry. He plays good all around and doesn’t force anything. He wouldn’t start but definitely would add something.
Same thing said about all in state kids, but they just don't pan out very often

You do not know that. NBA is a draft of potential, not readiness. He is going to go through the evaluation process and see where he projects before making a final decision. There are plenty of good teams in the late first round who can take a player like him and develop him. This is a weak draft for big men which is why Quaintance is projected as a high first round pick despite being injured and not playing this year.
Just watch and see. That drafting on potential is an overused cliche.

Have heard jj's kin popping off, but jj needs to worry about his game and count the $ he was over paid. That $ should have gone to the Mullins kid that wound up at uconn. Much more complete and better player

Hitman206 is taking over for Grad24 in the number of posts he makes with everything being definitive as he states it. Might be Clark Francis. Who knows?

If Chandler started, Saunders would have. He is much better
You do realize he would’ve came last year not this year. He wouldn’t have started last year. Butler Oweh and Robinson was starters. He wasn’t starting over them 3. He started every game for byu last year. But again his wife is a BYU alum and they have a lot of stuff they do there which is why they didn’t leave.

So he would’ve started over Robinson butler and Oweh? Think again. His wife is a BYU alum and they do a lot of community stuff. That’s why he didn’t end up leaving. Can’t blame him. If the wife isn’t wanting to leave BYU not like he can just say alright ill be back in a few years.

Yes. Romon Domon looks like an interesting prospect and would be easy to recruit . Likely Vandy and Louisville are thinking the same thing.

Disagree, if People did not like jelavic they wouldn't like this guy. Basically a clone. Likes to shoot and not much else in the games that I saw

He plays tonight at 10pm in the NIT. In the highlights that I've seen, the only way he's like AJ is they both tall white guys from another country. Domon can actually shoot, spot up and off the bounce. His handle is a lot better (step back 3's and cross overs) and he's quicker than AJ and he looks a lot more confident than AJ.
I know highlights are just that (doesn't show defense and rebounding) so I'm going to be interested in watching him tonight in the NIT.

Yea they aren’t the same player at all. He just going off the fact they are both European guys around the same size.

Be interested in other opinions. He just didn't show much the games I watched. Could have been just off games

If we get Vaaks to and Domon to add to Jelly and Chandler we will start looking like Illinois.
