I mean it’s practice isn’t it? Kinda unfair to make assumptions and act like you’re waiting for a kid to start playing better.
For example when he says Braydon Hawthorne hasn’t gotten going does he mean he’s missing practice shots? Or are they scrimmaging and he is playing bad?
I'm not surprised that Zoom and Wilkins have looked good as I think our guards are going to be very special. Wilkins was a guy I wanted as much as anyone. Some are worried about him being from a smaller school but just watching him proved to me he can really play. Having Milan as an outside threat will help him increase his 3 point shooting.
Also maybe I need to watch more Wilkins gane but he seems like hed be fine in the sec.
Maybe a little skinny and reliant on floaters/ fouls?
still should work more than fine. If jasper johnson can score 11 against ole miss, Wilkins will feast

The SEC had one great year in basketball and now people act like it's SEC football. The SEC isn't some magical conference that only elite players can thrive in. I don't get why people keep saying that stuff.

Mcbride looks like he could sell dime bags on the block. Dude is kind of scary looking. Looks like he's 50 to me. Players like him can bust out. I bet he's tough.

Wilkins just scored 21 points against UCONN on the biggest stage last year. Also a lot of good teams wanted him, that’s good enough for me.
In my mind, it's more than the officiating is absolutely terrible. It has to be the worst of all the major conferences. Seems they let defenders beat the hell out of players.
21 vs UCONN in an NCAAT game but can't play in the SEC. Yeah, though, thinking about it, we had two top 5 NBA draft picks in the backcourt a few years back and couldn't get past a future Home Depot Department Manager in the NCAAT

I expect Wilkins to be productive in the SEC offensively. The question in my mind is whether he can defend SEC athletes. The slight build comes into play on the defensive end.
SEC officiating has always been awful.

I watched him some last year. The is rugged. When he get position, nobody is gonna his rebound.
Plying with this combination of talent will certainly accentuate his skill set.

I hate to post it, but I believe Hawthorne will be the player at the end of our bench, not a starter or impactful contributor as many believe.
The season hinges on Diallo and Wilkins playing well.

It is making more sense that Hawthorne didn't entertain the portal and it wasn't because we paid him more to not look around.
